We're on the road, headed back home
Just a couple of kids, content, it's almost Christmas
The cars are slow, backed up on 24
But that's fine cuz we've got Sinatra's Christmas hits
Woah oh oh, I can't wait to get to you
So we can melt our worries away by the fireplace
Woah oh oh, oh oh oh oh I don't know
What you got me but I hope it didn't cost too much
The stockings were all hung with care and tacks
The wreath is really ugly but holds so many good memories
The tree got smaller as I got older I could swear
I never would imagine I could hang the star
The living room is filled with kids, laughter and love
You can't hear the television but at times like this you don't need to listen just live
enjoy it, remember it all
"Hold on I'll be right there" I yell
Momma's in the kitchen wishing someone would help her set the table and chairs
This is beautiful, you're all beautiful and I don't tell you enough
But I love you all alot
We're on the floor, watching Rudolph and Charlie Brown
Same shows every year but we wouldn't have it any other way
No work or school to worry about for a few days
So we'll sing together and watch Home Alone a few more times
Woah oh oh, I love this Christmas eve
I'm gonna take enough pictures to last me through to the next one
Woah oh oh, oh oh oh I don't know
What I would do without this holiday
