Ana Paula Valadão was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in 1976. Raised in a devout Christian family, she developed a passion for music at an early age. In 1991, inspired by the teachings of her father, she co-founded the Christian rock band Diante do Trono (Before the Throne).
